The older I get the more I realise just how important it is to look after myself and my soul. I never want to look back and wish I had cared more or just put in a little more effort. In order to create a positive effect on the most impact yet easy way, I have sifted through some top essential secrets that will help your skin without taking too much time, money or energy.
- A good skin care Routine§
This is vital if you want to see a change in your skin.
MORNING: consistency is key. It is so important to wash your skin every morning. Your skin is so worth investing in, so find a cleanser and moisturise (ensure it has a SPF) that doesn’t have strong chemicals but rather an organic or vegan based product.
EVENING: Remove your makeup and wash your skin with a good cleanser. Finish off with a night cream moisturizer. (my ultimate fav!)
WEEKLY: Exfoliate twice a week & a good home face mask once a week is great for nourishing your skin.
- D.I.Y charcoal Face Maks:
I’m obsessed with activated charcoal. It is an incredible element that detoxifies your skin. It draws out any impurities and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth. Here is a recipe that you can make at home:
1/4 tsp Baking soda
1/4 tsp Coconut oil
1 tsp Water
1/4 tsp Activated charcoal
1/2 tsp Bentonite clayleave on for 20 minutes beforewashing it off.
- Your natural intakes:
Drink water: Water detoxifies your body and skin which helps with cleansing.
Eat your water:
Iceberg lettuce – 96% water strawberries – 92% water
Green cabbage – 93% water watermelon – 92% water
Zucchini – 95% water spinach – 96% water
Raspberries 87% water Orange 87% water
