PEOPLE!!! There are only nine sleeps until Christmas which means its time to get organised.
Tis most definitely the season for giving. You still have nine days to find the perfect gift. I know it can be so hard to find the perfect gift (Unique but personal) and then still make your gift look extraordinary. If you are like me, the wrapping means just as much as the gift.
My best is watching people open their gifts and identifying the types of gift openers they are…There are those of you who are good gift wrappers and those of you who claim to be good gift wrappers. haha, yes well all know them…
There’s those of you who are who just want the gift (despite the time and effort you may have taken to wrap their gift) they are the “wham bam, thank you mama” kind of gift openers. Just like that, your wrappings in a crumpled ball on the floor.
Then there’s those of you who take there time. I appreciate these kinds of people. They tend to save the paper but sometimes I just want to tell you what you have because it has taken you so long to get there. Lastly, my favourite kind of openers – The tissue digger…those of you who open the gift only to keep looking for more! ha. your welcome.
But wrapping should not be difficult, it should be fun. It’s the love that goes into the gift after all.
So let’s see how with just a few items you already have laying around the house, you can create gorgeous gift wrap this Christmas.
There’s nothing I love more than getting creative, so why not allow a kid this Christmas the opportunity to do the same with some crayons and white gift wrapping.
When I bring out my inner elf, I can’t help but feel like I’m in my element. The more mess and ribbon the better. When it comes to wrapping, I think you can never go wrong with a minimal look. I love brown plain paper. It is a cheap option and becomes an adorable base to add your favourite coloured Christmas ribbon or string. I always try to add a festive extra (either a candy cane or a piece of fern) either a candy cane or a piece of fern)
This Christmas I am loving the rose gold look. I think its so effective…but make sure you don’t forget your Christmas card to slip under a ribbon. Let’s be honest – no one like’s a gift without taking a moment to remember who you are in their lives. Besides, your words can truly set your gift up for a win.
